Gabriel said the peacock miraculous was broken, to which some of you have already theorized had something to do with why Emilie is in a coma (or dead lmfao)
and it can also explain why Duusu, the peacock kwami, was visibly distressed in the only images we were shown.
so we can assume that miraculouses can be used even if broken (but it can have extreme side affects)
edit: which also begs the question, how the hell do you break a miraculous? obviously Chat can with his cataclysm but that’s pure destruction. The peacock miraculous is still tangible and able to be used, but it’s “broken”? And when the wielder uses the miraculous, they get sick. You gotta wonder. what would be able to do that?
we didn’t get to see Duusu this episode, which sucks but there could be an alternative reason for that. Perhaps something happened to her or she was merely unavailable.
For whatever reason, I’m excited to find out more about her.
