Hello! Sorry for the late reply– I had trouble thinking up a response for you question.. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember – and honestly I try not to depend on construction lines unless I’m going for a realistic/accurately proportion work. I just use a simple circle with two lines as a reference most of the time and just wing it – make quick strokes for the gestures to make them more fluid and then fill in the details later is how I do things :0 I ain’t a pro or anything and make mistakes on proportions/perspective all the time but it really just takes practice to be decent at it;;;
hope this kinda helps!
(tbh i hate doing lineart bc it makes the drawing more stiff than the sketch but thin/thick/different line weights help a bit too :0)
to this day it amazes me that thousands of people thought this was an actual legitimate page from an official comic book published by DC Comics, a subsidiary of Warner Bros., and not a single one of them ever asked even the basic question of how Wonder Woman was shouting with her mouth closed
a good rule of thumb for identifying photoshopped comic panels is to check whether the characters have speech balloons
