anyway, my older sister was adopted when she was almost 16 (kinda on accident too), and because of that she got away from an abusive household, went from barely passing classes to being an honour student, and launching into a career where she’s happy and healthy and paying her own way. just two years of parenting where she had 3 meals a day, a bedtime, and parents to help and protect her changed her life radically. Plus, i got an older sister
i think high heeled winter boots are the cruelest trick played on women. here’s some footwear specifically designed for cold weather and rough, slick terrain, but we went ahead and made it less functional so you can look more fuckable. don’t slip baby! that’s it that’s womenswear distilled down to its purest core
my thoughts exactly but also about high-heeled hiking boots
high heeled WHAT NOWS
But have you seen the Teva hiking/working stiletto?
honestly, why does jkr think harry “ptsd” potter is gonna immediately settle down in to a long term relationship with someone he’s known since he was 12 and it’s all going to work out perfectly fine and he’s not going to be restless and unhappy and irritable which are all traits we have seen of him. let ginny realize she’s into luna lovegood and let harry have several years of living in a cottage in the woods away from everything so he can find peace again and then let harry become, ding ding ding, a professor at hogwarts because he’s better at teaching than anything else and him wanting to be an auror at fifteen is like wanting to be a firefighter as a kid
Our cat had all four roommates feeding him each day because he acted like he was starving and we didn’t know that the other roommate already fed him. This was our solution, hopefully he will slim down a bit.
Life advice for people with big tiddies: PLEASE get measured to see if you’re wearing the right size because like 90% of people wear the wrong size, and if your boobs are bigger it can cause a lot of pain in your shoulders and back
Anyway I wore a 34K (European 75K) for ages and I used to have indentations on my shoulders from the weight of my tiddies. Then I got measured and I’m actually a 30L (European 65L) and now I barely have that problem anymore. Basically now the band and cup support the weight of my breasts properly, but when I was wearing a bra that was two sizes too big in the band, the bra couldn’t hold it up properly, so the straps ended up supporting almost all of the weight, which caused actual indentations on my shoulders
That goes for all breast sizes actually, not the big ones
It does! But I specifically mentioned big sizes because bigger breasts = more weight that needs to be supported, so the impact on your back, shoulders and neck is even bigger. Also a lot of people with big boobs might think they’re gonna have the shoulder issue no matter what because it’s a big boobs thing, and don’t know that the right bra can help with it
Had to go research this thing, and the answer to what to do if it stings you is scream.
from Wikipedia-
“One researcher described the pain as “…immediate, excruciating, unrelenting pain that simply shuts down one’s ability to do anything, except scream. Mental discipline simply does not work in these situations. In terms of scale, the wasp’s sting is rated near the top of the Schmidt sting pain index, second only to that of the bullet ant, and is described by Schmidt as “blinding, fierce [and] shockingly electric”.“
Soooooo…dissociate to escape or?
It’s laying eggs in you.
Let’s back up a second and fully appreciate that description.
The Schmidt sting pain index, a widely used classification system for the bites and stings of ants, bees and wasps, is literally the personal ranking system of a guy named Justin Schmidt, who goes around letting bugs sting him for science. Like, that’s this Thing as a scientist.
In one entry, he describes the sting of the common bee as “almost pleasant, [like] a lover just bit your earlobe a little too hard.”
In another, the sting of the yellowjacket is described as “hot and smoky, almost irreverent. Imagine W. C. Fields extinguishing a cigar on your tongue.“
So when the Schmidt sting pain index characterises the sting of the tarantula hawk as “blinding, fierce [and] shockingly electric”, well, now you know what your standard for comparison is!
this is fascinating but when do we kinkshame Justin Schmidt
