( okay if you saw this post earlier i am so sorry i am boo boo i the fool i got too excited and uploaded the doc before it was ready to be released i am a Big Dumb Idiot) (if you already applied you don’t need too again you’re good LMAO) SO after gathering all of the parts, it turns out that there is about 151 in total. Thats, a whole lot to put into a video. So here’s a doc with the parts instead! :^) NOW, here are the rules!
RULES: – Canvas size of 1366×768 please! – Nothing homestuck wouldn’t do! This is suppose to be fun and lighthearted, but I know that theres some lines that can be a tad iffy. (such as ‘Kanaya saws Eridan in half’) – When applying please state more than one part. (and also why you’d like them!) I can’t guarantee your most favorite part, but I will also try to get as many people to join as I can -I’m not gonna rush you or anything because I know sometimes things come up but please keep in mind that the goal date for release is 4/13! This includes me editing and adding other tidbits – You’re allowed extensions of course! Just please, PLEASE don’t abuse them. Give me an estimate of how much more time you need and we can work it out. I’m more than willing to help. – Not really first come first serve but I’m not too picky. After all this is suppose to be just good fun (heart) – Uhhh I’d love it if you stuck to the lyrics in your part (for example, if you part states that you have John Egbert please don’t just throw in Gamzee) Unless you have a chorus part, in which you can do whatever you’d like (as long as it follows the other rules) – Please no cross fandoms! It’s strictly homestuck unless stated otherwise (for the purpose of hiveswap, friendism etc.) Also please contact me before putting your fan trolls in your part (if you absolutely have to. It depends on your part hehe) – This isn’t strictly pmv, but if you’d like to do animation I recommend the choppy gif-style that homestuck provides since we’re kinda tight on time. (also the parts are like, SUPER SHORT) – Please send me wips! I’d love to see your progress. i was looking at old photos and i wanted to show you how our story went, a little
bronwyn and i met at age 12 but i dont have any photos from then, really, but this is from grade 9 science class when we were being goofs and i was 13
this is from our first ever sleepover, we couldn’t stop laughing and we were sleeping on a mattress on the floor and we went to boston pizza and got plastic rings that we both still have (bronwyn kept hers on a necklace after that)
i went to bronwyn’s cottage for the first time in the summer after grade 9
we had our first kiss in grade 10 when i was 14 and were in a weird kind of dating limbo period
then i moved to the states and turned 15 and told bronwyn i was in love with her and we visited every chance we could and she sent me flowers and packages
then i went to junior prom with her and bronwyn cut her hair
then we had the most beautiful summer where i spent 5 weeks at her cottage and i cut my hair
then i went back to miami for 12th grade and turned 16 and bronwyn was 17 and we went to senior prom together
then i moved back to canada for university when i was turning 17 and we finally lived in the same place again and we loved each other so much and got breakfast together every day
then after a beautiful summer we started living together when i was 18 and bronwyn was 19 and we went to bahrain together and bronwyn dyed her hair brown and now i get to see her every morning and every night and we adventure in our city and have a coffee shop and love each other more than i could have thought. there were periods of scary intense darkness but we love each other so much and i’ve never been happier. i’ve known bronwyn since i was 12 and now i’m almost 19 and i love her more and more.
i’m never on here anymore, but i wanted to share that almost a month ago bronwyn and i got engaged!! under a beautiful tree on a perfect day and for the rest of my life i get to pursue her and care for her and make her laugh. i’ve said this so many times but now more than ever: if this is all i get, it’s so much more than i could have hoped for.
Honestly, the thing about jojo is that it starts kinda normal, and each new bizarre thing it introduces seems so logical in context; you don’t even realize how weird it is until you look up and realized you’ve gone from watching two kids fighting for daddy’s approval, to watching a 70 year old old man helping his grandson cheat at MLB 2k 1989 to save the immortal soul of his best friend while simultaneously searching for the surviving one of those aforementioned kids, who’s now a sexy evil vampire that stops time and has stolen his rivals body.
My favorite part about this post is that it makes it sound like the show started normal and ended weird as though that is the peak, when in reality that is only near the end of part 3 of 8 of an ongoing series and it still continues to ramp up to this day.
It doesn’t even cover the main character turning his teeth into jellyfish to absorb the piss he’s drinking, the rainbow that turns people into snails, an antagonist who has the same backstory as the main character from Holes, the US president collecting the remains of Jesus Christ to protect America, or from the latest part, A Stand who controls air pressure that takes the form of a lego replica of the White House
Which by the way is the same part that features a main protagonist who poses two sets of balls
Basically this show is great because you never know what to expect and it always manages to surprise you, but it’s so well executed that you never really question it and you remain engaged and go with it
