Abd they’ll do their best to destroy local businesses.

The largest public housing project in the country is a few blocks north of where the Long Island City headquarters is going and land values are already going up since the announcement. It’s only a matter of time before the people who live there are forced out.

The projects that they will soon be replacing is the Astoria Projects and the Queensbridge projects. I’ve lived in the Astoria projects and my family has lived in those projects since they left the south from being sharecroppers. Don’t let Amazon destroy our black and brown communities. NYC does it enough with their new apartment building and the ferry the dropped right in the midsts of the projects.
