I can’t express how emotional i feel about this one line! 

Adrien compared Marinette to Ladybug. 

He compared Marinette to Ladybug. 

He personally sees all of the good things she does for everyone else and compares it to the Heroine of Paris! The person he is in love with! And I can’t help but feel that even though it is clear he doesn’t have any romantic feelings for Marinette yet, her natural instinct to help others will be a huge part of bringing about those romantic feelings in the future. He’s already linking one of his favourite qualities of Ladybug to her. 

Ladybug may be there to protect people from danger and Le Papillon but Marinette protects people in everyday life when they feel sad, angry, happy, scared, frustrated, and i feel like that’s what Adrien is talking about. 

I love this scene to bits and I hope it is referenced in the future, either from Adrien making more comparisons between Marinette and Ladybug or from a possible post-reveal scenario.

This will never stop being significant to me.
