im messing around with deltarune and i noticed that instead of RESET, the save menu says ERASE. the only place ERASE is used in undertale with that context is when chara is presenting you with an “option” to destroy the world at the end of genocide. in both the genocide ending and deltarune, your choices dont matter.

To be fair… We don’t have meta control in Deltarune. We aren’t the ones who go back to a save point, we are asked if we want to go back. I still believe that Gaster is the one doing everything, because everything points to him.
Considering the fact that no one gets Deja vu when you die and come back like they did in Undertale
i find it more likely that its somehow linked to chara, rather than gaster. the speech patterns of the narrator match much better to chara’s. i dont know how, but somehow, chara is involved in this story. toby is smart, he wouldnt put in these kinds of things if he didnt mean for them to be hints about the nature of the final story
